DIY Rainbow - Mr WorldPride Float Terms and Cons
OK you have to quickly read this but it's totally worth being a part of the team!
1. I will abide by the terms and conditions of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade.
2. I will not advertise any company logos or shirts on my costume.
3. I am aware that I have to provide my own costume and abide by the Pitbull theme of the float.
4. I am responsible for any damage that I cause to the equipment hired and supplied on the night.
5. Transport must be arranged by myself, to and from the parade.
6. I'm aware I have to stay with float until finish under the Mardi Gras requirements.
7. I'm aware all personal belongings are my responsibility and will look after them. Bags and belongings will not be stored on the truck.
8. I will let a coordinator know of any problems which may cause an injury to myself or someone else.
9. A coordinator can contact me in regards to the parade.
10. I am aware that my photo/video maybe taken and I give full permission for use both by our internal photographers & ABC Broadcast.
11. A ($30+$100) $130 fee will be required to secure my spot and does not include my outfit other than a bald cap.
12. No refunds after Friday 13th February 2026.
13. I may be removed from the float or registration at anytime for any reason.
14. All info on this form is correct and true, I have not supplied false information.
15. If I live in Sydney I will commit to at least two 6pm dance rehearsals but ideally, all 3 rehearsals.
16. Parade is on Saturday 28 February 2026 and I will be required at least from 5pm until the float finishes the parade around 10.30pm.
17. No alcohol is permitted in the SGLMG Holding Bay.
